Informació en promera persona del cop d'estat a l'Iran. En aquesta entrevista d'àudio (Persa) Mohsen Makhmalbaf, destacat cineasta i portaveu de Mousavi, explica el cop d'estat. Ell informa París abans de Ahmadinejad anunciés oficialment la seva victòria.

Transcripció aproximada dels primers 1:54 minuts:

Ahir al matí, 20 homes vestits de paisà van entrar a la seu de la campanya electoral de Mousavi, van destrossar els seus aparells de comunicacions, van colpejar a algunes persones, i van llançar gasos lacrimògens en ser confrontats. Els partidaris de Mousavi van aconseguir capturar i retenir-ne a 7 a la seva seu. Quan arriva la policia demana que els lliurin les 7 persones capturades, assegurant que se'ls donarà el càstig corresponent. El Sr. Aminzadeh (de la seu de la campanya elctoral) demana un informe escrit dels incidents a la policia.

En aquest moment el personal de Mousavi rep una trucada des del Ministeri de l'Interior demanant Mousavi per preparar el seu discurs de victòria. S'informa al líder suprem de la victòria de Mousavi que l'aprova i dóna el seu permís per comunicar les notícies a la ciutadania. Immediatament després d'això, tots els telèfons mòbils a la seu es tallen. Es comunica als diaris reformistes que ha guanyat Mousavi però se'ls demana no poblicar encara la noticia. Tanquen la seu central i el nomenen a ell (Makhmalbaf) portaveu de la campanya. Tot aixòho explica a partir de comunicació directa amb la seu central.

A partir d'aqui fa algunes especulacions, la més notable és que Ahmadinejad i Sepah (l'Exèrcit dels guardians de la Revolució Islàmica) podria estar fent un cop d'estat contra el líder suprem i Rafsanjani (cap dels quals ha estat vist des de llavors)

Rough transcript up to minute 1:54:

Yesterday morning 20 men in plain clothes break into Mousavi's headquarters, break the communications equipment, beat some people up, and throw tear gas when confronted. Mousavi's supporters manage to capture and retain 7 of them in the headquarters. when the police come they ask that the 7 people be handed over to them, assuring that they will be given the proper punishment. Mr Aminzadeh (from the headquarters) requests a written report of the incidents from the police.

At this time Mousavi's staff receives a call from the interior ministry asking Mousavi to prepare his victory speech. They inform the supreme leader of Mousavi's victory which he approves of, and gives his permission to communicate the news to people. Right after this, all cell phones in the headquarters get cut off. The reformist newspapers are told that Mousavi has won but they are asked not to put the news out yet. The headquarters are closed down and they appoint him (Makhmalbaf) as the campaign's spokesperson. All this he reports from direct communication with the headquarters.

From this he speculates some points, the most remarkable being that Ahmadinejad and Sepah (the Army of the guardians of the Islamic Revolution) might be doing a coup against the supreme leader and Rafsanjani (neither of whom has been seen since)

La nit de dimecres els SMS van deixar de funcionar a l'Iran, per tal d'interrompre les comunicacions dels activistes de l'oposició durant l'últim dia abans de les eleccions. Avui, han aturat completament la xarxa de telefonia mòbil i l'Internet.

A l'Iran la gent està prenent els carrers. Ja no canta "mort als EUA". Ara criden "Llibertat, llibertat, llibertat" i "Mori el malgovern". Hi ha enfrontaments amb la policia, i els manifestants es defensen llançant pedres. Hi ha hagut una bomba en un autobús (o potser l'han incendiat? podeu cercar el video al you tube). Contenidors d'escombraries cremen al carrer.

Durant 30 anys el govern iranià ha conservat la seva autoritat mitjançant l'organització d'eleccions netes cada quatre anys. Malgrat que el clergat ha il·legalitzat un munt de candidatures i el líder suprem ha vetat la majoria de les iniciatives legislatives progressistes, la gent encara ha mantingut l'esperança mentre ha anat veient millores lentes però constants de les seves llibertats.

Però ara, sembla que va ser massa per l'elit conservadora tenir alhora un president progressista a l'Iran i als EUA, per la qual cosa va prendre la decisió desesperada de falsejar les eleccions. Però ningú no s'ho ha empassat. Ara la gent ha vist que els dirigents conservadors del que són: un grup de lladres que s'aferren al poder de qualsevol manera possible. El govern ha perdut l'autoritat i la gent ha perdut el seu últim gra d'esperança. Milions de persones sense esperança porten a una situació molt volàtil. La violència ja ha pres els carrers amb la policia oficial, la secreta, i els fanàtics apallissant impunement als manifestants progressistes.

"A communications disruption can mean only one thing - Ahmadinejad dictatorship." Iran, June 13th 2009

Last Wednesday night texting stopped working in Iran in order to disrupt the communications of the opposition activists during the last day before the election. Today they shut down the cell phone network entirely, as well as the Internet.

In Iran people are taking the streets. They no longer chant "death to the USA". Now they shout "Freedom, freedom, freedom" and "Death to the government". There are clashes with the police, with people throwing stones at them. There has been one bus bombing (or burning?). Trash containers have been set on fire.

For 30 years the Iranian government has preserved they authority by organizing clean elections every four years. Despite the clerics banning many candidates and the supreme leader vetoing most legislative initiatives by progressive cabinets, people still kept the hope as they saw slow, but consistent, improvements in their freedoms.

But now, it seems it was too much for the conservative elite to have both a progressive president in Iran and in the USA, so they took the desperate decision to rig the elections. But nobody bought it. Now people have seen they conservative leaders for what they are: a bunch of crooks holding on to power by whatever means they have. The government has lost they authority and the people have lost they last grain of hope. Millions of people with no hope left is a very volatile scenario. Violence has already taken the streets with police and vigilantes beating up progressives demonstrating in the streets.
